Keghan Livingston (@keghanlivingston), a Mississippi man who usually posts about oilfield work and fishing, says the Walmart driver sent to deliver his new television tapped “delivered,” reversed out of his driveway, and drove off with the box while his mother watched.
‘I Can’t Stand a Damn Thief’
Livingston says the trouble started when the TV on the back porch, “where we sit at pretty much almost every night,” went out last week.
He says his wife ordered a replacement for delivery from Walmart.com; however, the family was going to be at their daughter’s soccer game at the delivery time. So, his wife called his mother to come wait for the driver, per his account.
The handoff never happened, he says.
“She pulls in my driveway, clicks the ‘delivered’ button, backs up and hauls [expletive] and steals my [expletive] TV,” he says. His mother “sat here and watched her, tried to wave her down, stop her.”
Livingston says he sped back from the game to catch her and came up empty.
He identified the driver by first name and named a hometown and vehicle. Subplot News was unable to independently verify those identifying details.
Livingston ends on a plain question. “Why steal somebody’s TV? … You got a job. Go buy your own [expletive] TV. Why you gotta steal mine?”
‘What a Shock’
Now, it gets tricky because in the comments, his wife shows a picture of the woman, which shows her name and an order number.
Predictably, the racists came out with their innuendos about Black pathology around a name some clearly assume belongs to a Black woman.
“I’m shocked that Jamara would do such a thing,” one person said. “With a name like that I know she didn’t do nuffin,” replied another commenter.
The issue is that, based only on this video, there isn’t a clear understanding of what actually occurred. They showed the woman’s face, but nothing else about the order that would confirm what they’ve accused the driver of. The viewer can only take the Livingstons’ word for it.
Others suggested they simply report her, which they reportedly did. Livingston said, in the comments, that another television was being sent to their home.
What Is Walmart’s Contactless Delivery Policy?
For no-contact drop-offs, Walmart’s own Spark Driver documentation instructs gig drivers that “taking a photo of the order helps confirm proof of delivery.”
It shows the customer where it was left—a photo that would settle a driveway standoff like this one. The same platform requires drivers to verify their identity with a photo ID and a selfie before they can take orders.
Is It Common for Drivers to Steal Deliveries?
Drivers keeping the goods they’re paid to deliver is not rare. In Ankeny, Iowa, Amazon Flex drivers Brandon and Madison Kelderman pleaded guilty to stealing nearly $58,000 in customer packages over roughly two weeks in 2025.
