An Atlanta man mourned the loss of his chicken wings after making a nasty discovery. TikTok user @dvsanii published a clip documenting his horror upon learning an uninvited guest decided to take up residence in his food container.
According to his narration in the video, and a location tag appended to his post, he purchased his food from Lost in Da Souse Kitchen.
What did he find in his chicken wings?
“I just need to take video of this. Just so I can have proof,” he says, cracking open the foam takeout box.
Upon doing so, he shows off two slider burgers (one of them bitten) and an assortment of sauced-up wings on the plate before him.
He points to the food as he breaks down what happened.
“One of these burgers was already gone. I bit into this burger, I bit into this wing. As I bit into this wing,” he says, zooming in on one of the pieces of chicken.
A revolting image then comes into focus through the lens: A roach. Or at least, a nasty critter that looks a heck of a lot like one swathed in sauce.
The TikToker says he was so horrified by the find that he immediately tossed the food.
“Y’all see that? This junk was mixed in the sauce with the wing. I flung the wing, so of course it had went over there. And it gone to this wing. I’m irked,” he says. “This whole plate. Lost Da Souse. Nah, nah.”
People were disgusted
Commenters who replied to @dvsanii’s video were equally disgusted by the find.
“A roach in my wings would’ve sent me into psychosis,” one person penned.
Another was stunned by just how well camouflaged the bug was inside the meal. “Omg and it’s blending in,” they wrote.
However, others said they couldn’t understand why anyone would want to purchase food from the establishment to begin with. According to them, the food didn’t look appetizing even without an alleged roach in it. Whereas others stated that they always had reservations about the College Park restaurant.
“The chicken don’t even look done,” one said, with others stating they too thought it was undercooked.
“First off, wyd eating lost in da souse anyway,” another remarked.
“Y’all be really eating there,” someone else said, raising eyebrows at the thought of ordering food from the eatery.

How Are Lost In Da Souse’s Ratings?
Judging by the current 460 Google Reviews for Lost in Da Souse Kitchen, assessments are equally unflattering. It currently has a 2.7 out of 5 stars on the search engine’s listing page. One assessment of the restaurant said their “wings were over cooked but the sauce was good.” They gave the business two out of five stars.
Someone else gave the same numerical ranking, but gave a much more scathing evaluation of the business. They called it “bland and dirty” and that “the cashiers had attitudes.” While the customer said they enjoyed the boudin balls they purchased, the “chicken souse was disgusting.” Moreover, they stated that the sauce seemed to be made entirely out of chicken oil and fat, and that there was hardly any meat in it.
Another person, who dined there in July 2026, said they were “disappointed with [their] experience.” They too found staff at the establishment to be “rude.” As for the food, they didn’t find it to be awful, “just okay.” When it came to value, however, they weren’t sold on Lost in Da Souse’s pricing. “Definitely not worth what they’re charging. Everything felt overpriced for the quality and portion size,” they wrote.
Viral Hype
Several Google users mentioned that viral social media posts piqued their interest and influenced them to try Lost in Da Souse. And while the restaurant has its fair share of detractors, others seemed to enjoy their meals. One commenter called it a “beautiful family oriented restaurant.” Someone else said they felt the wings they purchased were “worth a late night wait.”
On Yelp, the business has an even lower score with 1.9 stars out of five. Conversely, Uber Eats features a much more favorable appraisal of the Atlanta food business. With 3,000+ ratings from customers who ordered on the platform, it enjoys a 4.1 out of five-star rating.
Lost In Da Souse has a sizable online footprint. Its TikTok account features several videos with tens of thousands of views, with a 16.7 thousand follower count. Its Instagram presence is much more robust at 571k as of this writing.
The restaurant’s posts appear to have captivated hungry diners looking to try its wares. Plenty of social media users have shared their own opinions on food purchased from there. While this person called its grub “bulls**t,” Drake seemed to enjoy his Lost in Da Souse meal in this video.
‘Looking Into Legal Options’
In the comments section of his own video, @dvsanii said he was attempting to pursue legal action against the eatery. As for why he decided to buy food from there, he says that he tried it previously and was impressed.
“So I been up all morning looking into legal options to take. But I will also be doing a health report with Fulton County Health Department. I ate from here before off someone else plate and it was good ngl,” he says. “That’s what made me wanna order it plus it was the only thing around open at 2:00am … but child, first and last time. One of my main principles is my food. I don’t play about that especially if you’re doing a service to people.

Subplot called the Fulton County Board of Health to obtain restaurant health inspection records, but attempts were met with a “number unreachable” message. Furthermore, attempts at locating inspections data at the Georgia Department of Health were also unsuccessful. As it doesn’t appear there is inspection data filed for the restaurant online. Subplot also sent a an inquiry to @dvsanii via Instagram direct message for further comment.
