Without a doubt, Chick-fil-A fans sure love their Chick-fil-A. Over the years, the company has developed a cult-like following, and some die-hard customers will go out of their way to get their hands on it. There are those willing to embark on a far-and-wide journey to grand openings, bringing congested traffic and camping overnight until the doors open.
One man leaned into this narrative with a tongue-in-cheek clip during a trip to a Tallahassee Walmart.
What Did He Witness At Walmart?
The TikTok video depicts Marcus (@marcusmadets). The text overlay reads: “Pov: [Chick]-fil-A put food in Walmart for 24 hrs.” While pushing his cart through the frozen aisle, he pans over the cases of frozen food.
When he pauses in front of a section, he reveals a door literally off its hinges and held up with a zip tie to a neighboring case’s door handle for support. On closer inspection, Chick-fil-A’s iconic red-and-white chicken wrapper sits at the top of the shelf. Attached to this door is a handwritten warning in black Sharpie, reading, “DO NOT OPEN. OUT OF ORDER. PLEASE USE OTHER DOORS. THANKS.”
Then, he cracks a joke to all the locals in the caption, accompanied by two laughing emojis: “You In Tally You know Which Walmart This Is.”
People were confused
Marcus’ video accumulated over 69,000 views and garnered mixed reactions from viewers.
“[Expletive] tf they do snatch the door off?” one viewer asked.
“tf happened to the door[?]” a second echoed.
“lol.. that could be a few in Tally.. but you should’ve gotten something and put it in a different box. and scanned said box,” a third remarked.
“I’m ngl that wouldve been me,” a fourth stated.
“I don’t understand,” a fifth said.
Does Walmart Sell Chick-fil-A?
No, it does not. While Walmart does carry Chick-fil-A-branded items such as the dressings and sauces, it does not sell its sandwiches despite the wrapper being found in the freezer. It’s likely a customer left it behind as trash. However, Walmart does sell copycat Chick-fil-A menu items.
The Chick-fil-A Hype Remains Unprecedented
Chick-fil-A’s popularity remains largely undefeated. Loyal customers laud the chain for its consistency, customer service, and cleanliness. In fact, the chicken joint reigned as America’s favorite fast food for 11 years straight. However, that reign ended this year.
As Yahoo reported, Chick-fil-A earned an 83 out of 100 on the American Customer Satisfaction Index’s annual Restaurant and Delivery Study, which surveyed random customers across different locations. While Chick-fil-A earned the same score again, sandwich chain Jersey Mike’s ousted them by one point and currently holds the title.
Nevertheless, the quick-service fast-food company is still going strong, securing its spot as a favorite chicken restaurant. But it doesn’t stop there. In this year’s QSR Magazine’s top 50 U.S. fast food chains, the company secured a spot at No.3. Using 2025’s previous sales, Tasting Table found the chicken joint raked in $24 billion in systemwide sales, beating Popeyes’s below 6 billion by 18 billion.
It’s safe to say fans are certainly still choosing Chick-fil-A to “Eat Mor Chikin.”
